Jane's Notes: The primary goal of the studies wasn’t necessarily to create a finished, polished drawing, but rather to address my needs related to the objectives on the wall. The pelican was composed in a sketchy style, with particular focus on that glorious wingspan. I was specifically requested to include the prominent knob on the pelican’s beak that emerges during breeding season.
