Jane's Notes: The first time I heard a Common Loon call in the wild was while I was painting the Wall of Birds. Over a long weekend in Maine, while I was frantically drawing studies to make up for my time away from the wall, I stayed at my family's cabin on Panther Pond. At 5 am one summer morning I awoke to the haunting cries of loons calling to each other--a moment I returned to often while creating this bird.
Each study comes with a certificate of authenticity. Please allow six weeks for custom matting and delivery. All sales final.
